It won't add more heat it's boost you are already making it's just not bleeding out anymore.
As for a re tune it's not required Janetty has already shown we can run a 5% overdrive on the stock tune.....which is already rich.
There is no extra air entering the intake so the maf has nothing to do with it.
Just remember this prevents you from bleeding boost.....pretty simple.
