The SS Sedan does indeed have the GG tax because it has the LS3 paired with an automatic.
Edit: well at least the automatic transmission equipped SS Sedans do, starting this year the SS is available with a manual for the first time, it would not surprise me if it avoids the GG tax but I haven't seen one in person yet to check the window sticker.
