The goodyear's are fine. They offer better dry traction and I have not had any problem with them at high speeds in the rain. I drove hours in the rain from MD to Nashville, TN, and did not hydroplane once. Now they don't really warm up if its under 40.
I have also driven them this winter which was very cold here in MD. I of course did not drive in any type of snow or ice, but it got down to single digits. There is a warning about the tires cracking, but they didn't.
Are your tires worn out? If not then you probably would not notice all that much if you did swap.
