I have a question for you. I was just looking at a different thread. I did not see anything saying a convertible could or could not run on the track. So with that said I did not think that could be a issue. In the other thread it mentions a convertible needs to have a rollbar. Now obviously as a novice who has never run on a racetrack it is not something I would have thought about. My car is completely stock and of course does not have a rollbar. I certainly am not planning on installing a roll bar. I was really looking forward to run around the track. If I need a rollbar I guess I will cancel my reserved spot??  |
The e-mail I received from NCM track about convertibles
The camaros doesn't come with sufficient rollover protection without an aftermarket rollbar, so we do not allow them for our events.
