By they way. My very first car was a 1960 Mercury Comet. I was 14 years old and paid $100 dollars for it. Had a farm equipment license back then. All the rest of my cars and trucks since have been GM. Oh wait, I owned a 1937 International Truck also. Never once had any real maintenance problems out of any of my GM cars and trucks. I would never buy a foreign manufactured car. Even if it is built in the US. It is still a foreign company that benefits from the sale. Support US products or some day you may not have any. You may be right on the way you are thinking , but some of those Foreing nameplates do have more money in the building it used in the USA In one way or another ,more than some of the American nameplates do
Take in account that some of the Domestic cars / trucks are actually built across border lines , and with parts from anywhere in this planet , just like all the Foreing units do
