One is better than none but here is the thing. A knowledgeable wheel thief can defeat a wheel lock but it takes a little bit of time and is noisy. Obviously a car with no wheel locks is the easiest target but 4 wheel locks isn't a terrible deterrent. On the other hand, 5 per wheel requires a lot of time and noise which increases the risk substantially. Like I said, I have had Gorilla wheel locks on several of my personal vehicles and not had any issues.
