I have 2010 SS.
I just had the springs replaced with BMR 1.25" drop springs. The ride is fantastic!
And the responsiveness is amazing.
You do not need to replace the whole setup, you can do just the springs, however, a lot of the labor is redundant, so doing it all at once is cheaper than springs, and later shocks and struts.
Also, you will most likely need an alignment.
Do not forget to have the bushings timed.
