Please read page 10. This is all that matters as this is the warranty manual itself. Not the owners manual, not a salesman, not an engineer. There are no specific clauses or addendums for the Z/28 or ZL1 either.
The warranty does not cover damage due to "misuse of the vehicle due to driving over curbs, overloading, racing, or other competition use." In plain English.
However, I'm certain the dealers have the latitude to be generous on certain models if they choose. Which I hope is the case for OP.

I can't help but wonder why if there is no warranty coverage for track use, does the owner's manual include instructions how to prep for the track with engine oil, brake fluid, etc....Does it say somewhere in there if you follow the track prep recommendations you also void your warranty?
