"short, stubby shifter"? Why wouldn't you want a shorter shifter? The shorther the manuel shifter, the less distance your hand has to travel to get the shifter to go from one gear to another. In other words, a quicker shift would result. As far as stubby, check out the billet shifter in the concept. I don't know your opinion on that shifter, but it looks pretty awesome to me! Too bad they will have to cut down on a lot of that billet aluminum when putting the camaro into production.
