Has nothing to do with leaving swirls. Even AFTER the car has been perfectly polished, you cannot avoid swirls on black unless your car is a garage queen and you take EVERY possible step to wash and dry the car correctly. If these steps are not done correctly, this is where most swirls come from. Most don't have a clue how to do this.
