Challenger, if you can find a Dodge Dealer that won't try to screw you over. When I was shopping I ended up at Ford. The Dodge Dealers in this area operate like it's still 1981. High pressure, high prices. Poor service.

My co-worker just bought a 2015 Fiesta ST at the same Ford dealership I bought my Mustang GT at, she got a great deal, I told her who to deal with. No pressure. got the full tour of the car, and absolutely loves it.

I owned one GM car, and when the map light cover fell off driving down the road and hit me in the head, and the button for the shift lever came off. Their service department said they could super-glue it back in. I laughed and decided I wouldn't buy anything else from GM ever again. If I wanted a car that was super glued together I would have bought a model.

Don't get me wrong, I like all of the Muscle Cars. The Camaro's blind spots, and GM's generally poor interior quality (they are famous for this, even on the Corvettes) and their poorly trained techs made me count them out. I tried dealing with several dodge dealerships for months before I gave up and went to Ford. They found the car I wanted, we negotiated a price, (all over email, mind you). I came in, put down a deposit to have them bring it in from another dealership about 300 miles away, and it was there the next day at 9AM, prepped and ready to go. Course it helps when you are paying cash, as the paperwork only took about 20 minutes as opposed to 2 hours. I have had 0 problems with it. They even installed my Axlebacks and gave me a great deal on labor, and every time I bring it in for service the same tech insists on doing the oil changes (he also did the axlebacks). He loves Mustangs and just bought a 2015 for himself.

I was even able to convince my father to go back to Ford after owning a Dodge Dakota for 12 years, and he loves his 2013 F-150 Lariat, he got 13k off the sticker price. It was brand new (bought it in 2014), but he lives in a small town and the dealer there (who I also dealt with when I bought my Focus in 2009 - all over email) delivered it to his house about an hour away. Also 0 problems. and He had them install his Flowmasters.

It's not all about performance, and it's not all about the initial sale. It's also about the service after the sale is completed. The biggest issue I see with the Challenger is that they have a very small after-market, whereas the Mustang's aftermarket is huge, and I imagine the Camaro's aftermarket is pretty large as well.
