Question 1:
I see a lot of power upgrade kits online include the solid isolator.
I have a 2015 ZL1. Did mine get the solid isolator coupling or do I still have a spring?
Given the nasty around this issue, I wonder if this particular point should be added to the handy sticky thread "Some info for ZL1 owners".
Question 2:
I would like to add power to the car, but I don't want the dealer to know about it so not to void my warranty. If I add power and something goes wrong, I want to be able to put everything back the way it was. Uploading a tune is recorded and the dealer will know about it. So what can I do that isn't permanent and doesn't require a tune? Air Intake, headers, full exhaust, etc. What about a 10% overdrive pulley? What else? Please don't say "the dealer wont honor the warranty anyway, just do it" blah blah -- I want to try to keep the warranty so lets just pretend it will get honored.
Question 3:
If I do a overdrive pulley, the boost will be increased. Will that get logged in a way that the dealer will know about it and maybe void my warranty?
Question 4:
Can I install a overdrive pulley myself?
Question 5:
I'm looking at the JRE "No Tune" 75RWHP @
http://www.jreperformanceparts.com/2...n-package.html
Is this safe?
What is "ARP Crank Bolt instead of GM Crank Bolt" ?
I imagine I should get "Proper Size Belt for 10% Crank Pulley"
Thanks for the help and sorry for the newbie questions.
