If there are any rattles or movement in the exhaust causing vibration or sounds, it is possible the LLT's very sensitive knock sensors could pick it up and think it's engine knock. This would result in the computer pulling timing and a decrease in HP.

As long as everything is good and tight, you may see a small improvement in engine output with an axle back exhaust. Mostly they just sound meaner!
