I just did mine last week (video method, no tool). I've not been able to drive it yet. I understand that GM is leaving these slightly cracked open to prevent sticking (and you do want the blower to be able to relieve boost in the right circumstance), but does anyone know the real reason why it would stick? I would suggest it is for the possibility of icing shut (this is the internet, take with a grain of salt). Most owners don't drive the car in those temps (because of the tires) so, in my mind this is low risk. Other opinions?
