This is not surprising to me in the least. I attribute the difference in sales to 2 major things as well as some small ones.
1. The Mustang is brand new, Challenger got a exterior refresh with a great interior upgrade and the Camaro is old.
2. Price. Go check Autotrader. The leftover 2014 Camaro's are no cheaper than similarly equipped 2015 Mustangs. The fact that Ford dealers are offering up to $5k discounts on a Brand new model will for sure get it to sell well. You can get a Ecoboost for $22k, GT for $30k and GT premium for $35k. That is seriously aggressive price undercutting of the competition.
