well, as a police officer i deal with kids like her all the time and worried parents like you. most, not all, but most of the time what you know is only the tip of the iceberg. there are probably drugs involved and sexual activity of some kind. i would have her tested for drugs, just for peace of mind, and as much as i hate to say it....birth control. man i hated to even type that, being a father of a girl myself. the loser crowd is something to be very worried about as well, birds of a feather as they say. i was thinking of that today with my own daughter, who is 22 and not much to be proud of, i can empathize with ya. i would say 90% of kids who hang with losers in school turn out to be losers as adults. on welfare and ssi, give me a break. ssi for punks who pissed away school years f-ing off living for today and now they can't get a job other than fast food so now they want to be labled disabled and live off of society, kind of like a parasite. that is what the liberal, socialistic minded want though...a brainwashed voting base. i digress. good luck, i do hope things turn out for the best, remember, as the step-dad most, if not all, the discipline should come from the mother. good luck
