So I looked through a bunch of reviews on the emblem swaps and the folks who cut out the middle of the bowtie badge itself, leaving the silver edge. I was not really a fan of what I saw so when I got my badge off, I went ahead and removed the backer all around. The result looks pretty darn good. Took me about an hour and a half with a very sharp knife. The grille is still very sturdy and supported, no issues there. More airflow is definitely a good thing.

Driving around town, 62 degrees out, my water temp gauge didnt get past the 1/3 mark after 30 minutes of driving. Is that the typical range for the water temp or is it usually in the middle?
