Hydro2 does require a strong water pressure, but that's not hindering anything. The pressure from a hose is sufficient to apply it. (Hydro2 was the first sealant I ever tried)
Something I find interesting about this video is they don't give and water beading examples.
I would venture to say the Hydro2 is going to be more durable, it would be interesting to see a side by side test.
