Excluding the brakes, and recognizing they are setup at different levels (Extreme performance vs. R-compound), I don't think Z/28 is any more prepped than a 1LE when driven bone stock. In other words, the 'extra' hardware Z/28 has for preparedness is equally offset by higher demands, if not more.
