Yeah, I remember hearing most car companies destroy their pre-production test vehicles. It seems kind of counter-productive, since it would be good to have a couple around half way to production as a reference for any improvements.
Wasn't there an IVER Corvette from the 1960's that just went at auction for about $2 million?
I'm sure the engineers must have a hard time watching their blood, sweat, and tears get crushed like a tin can. All that work down the drain.
Doesn't that cost bocoup bucks?
