The dealer is never going to give retail. Retail value and trade in value are totally different.

Exactly.
That being said, I would consider the trade if the 2011 is in near perfect shape but I prefer the 2010-2013 body styling. So for me it's a win win. Better looks, more power, trading the auto for a manual. Only real draw back is slightly more miles on the SS.
Oh and if the interior is Orange are you sure the stripes aren't also orange? In the shade my car looks more red than orange.
