I will experiment with a few different colors to see the result before tearing out my dash.
The back of the screen itself is pretty dark so i don't think its for contrast as its on the side of the LED's and not the projected image side.
I will post pics of it as is with the reflection on the windshield within a week when i get back from vacation.
