The cars are very primitive and do not have production intent parts. Remember -- they are built long before engineering is done -- and they have an incredible amount of miles on them - most of the miles very 'hard' miles. (and not to mention that Shunt just MAY have been in the trunk and pulled some wires loose......)
The interiors are very primitive in that there is lots of hard plastic -- no graining -- parts in some cases are velcroed together -- or glued/taped.
Unfortuntely, because of the above, they cannot be sold -- and as a result, they are crushed after recycling as many materials as possible........
Yes -- we've had people offer money for them -- along with their willingness to sign a waiver -- the problem is that a waiver is no good once they sell the vehicle to a second owner..........
So -- some of the material just MAY make it into your new Camaro -- because of recycling..........
We did keep an Alpha and a Beta of the C5 Corvette -- so I'd like to keep a Beta IVER of the Camaro --
.........because I think a lot of Camaro Enthusiasts would like to see where Shunt actually lived -- whoops
-- I mean -- I think people would like to see what an IVER looks like up close ---
