It buzzes hard and you can hear it kick in and out of 4 and 8 cyl. My wife has even stated she didn't notice it(because the radio is on and not pay attention to it) until we took a drive tonight. She is on the fence about keeping this exhaust and I'm almost ready to reinstall the stock system. Without resonators, this type of exhaust upgrade is not a good idea for L99 A6 cars, unless you can stand the buzzing/drone sounds of the AFM.
However, I want everyone to understand this is a great system, if it was an LS3. I understand MBRP is doing research for the L99 this week. So by far, I'm not talking bad about their work. The craftsmanship is amazing and I recommend it to anyone...with an LS3.
And for those saying, "just get a tune and turn it off", well that is when a warranty because an issue with me and being able to keep it. My recommendation for the L99 cars would be to just get an Axle back system until the aftermarket can supply us with something more suitable. Like a 3 inch version of the stock system.
