Garage space - 2002 vs. 2010 Camaro

I'm glad I came across this thread! Hadn't really considered the idea that my new Camaro might not easily fit into my garage. I've got a 2002 Z28 that fit's in there nicely right now, but I do need to be attentive when I pull in to avoid shearing off a side-view mirror.

So I Googled the dimensions of my 2002 and compared them to the 2010. The 2010 is about 2" wider and about 3 inches shorter in length than my 2002. This means it will fit (thankfully), and I'll actually have a bit more room at the front end, but will need to be even more attentive when pulling in because I'll have just a bit less room from side to side.

I went out and measured the garage opening width and the depth too. Good to go! This forum is really great!!!
