I have been told by a dealer that GM picks up orders/allocations every 25th of the month. Can someone verify if this is actually true?

This information will go a long way in helping me to decide if I should stay with the dealer I'm at or move on to another dealer.

I just don't know what to believe anymore from these dealers I'm dealing with.
