As the title states...I was finally able to find a 1LE within a reasonable driving distance to take for a test drive today and I absolutely fell in love with it! The one I drove was a brand new 2015 AGM 2SS with RS package and Recaro seats
EXACTLY what I have been looking for! I test drove a standard 2SS 6 speed about 6 months ago and just wasn't too impressed with how it felt. I could tell IMMEDIATELY the difference in the two cars. The rumble from the factory dual mode exhaust was amazing. The seats were very comfortable and held me in place very well, although I didn't get to take it through any twisties :( . I was truely amazed how well planted the car felt just cruising through town. The 3.91 gears and short ratio trans definitely makes the car more enjoyable to drive too. Anyway, I officially have the fever for a 1LE. It actually exceeded my expectations! Unfortunately, today was not the day to buy a $46k car lol as my wife would not have been happy with me. I'll have my current truck paid off in a few months and I'm thinking about just ordering one to all the specs that I want, but the salesman said they are not going to make anymore 2015 Camaro's. Basically stopping production on all of them, which didn't seem to make sense to make cause the 2016 won't be hitting the lots till later this year around November? I've found a couple used 2014's but hardly any with all the boxes checked, so to speak. I wonder why anyone would purchase these cars WITHOUT Recaro's! Hopefully in a few months I'll have one to park in my garage! Gotta start making space
