Back on topic.
I think the OP is concerned about the outward visibility rather than headroom. Specifically, the windows getting even smaller due to the lower roof. I've heard that the hood is lower (larger front windshield) and the A-pillar is thinner, both of which will improve forward visibility. But I don't remember hearing anything specific about the side windows
