No thermostat is going to fix the IAT problems that the Fastlane intake has. What Padre was talking about that he did was he relocated his IAT sensor and used a different IAT sensor. My advise would be forget that CAI all together and get a Vararam, New Era or ADM race with scoop. Those are the best performing intakes for the 5th gen SS and they don't need any extra modifications. The Pipeline is made of metal, it retains heat and is real long. The air has a long way to travel in a hot pipe before it reaches the throttle body. All the bends it takes can't be good either. Its a pain to clean the filter as well. If the bottom of your bumper was ever submerged from a flood it would suck up water and likely hydrolock the engine. All these things add up to get a different CAI.
