I had an '06 GP GXP and yes I could smoke the tires easily because it was FWD. I bought a 2011 Camaro RS last year for the show factor. True, it does not have the rumble, torque or power of the SS, ZL1 or Z28. But I love it anyway. I am sure if I test drove an SS I would not have gone to the RS, but I also wanted something with better fuel mileage. I enjoy every second I am in it.
