While the glory passes show a stock LS1 4th gen to be quicker (12.8x vs 13.0x) the Mach 1 is simply easier to drive and duplicate results. Through the 1/8th mile 99% of the time a well driven mach 1 will be ahead if not even. on the last half of the track the LS1 will stretch it's legs and pull ahead.
While not door to door on the 1/4 track it is in fact a door to door battle on the street or in an 1/8th mile run.

Well done and nice time... keep in mind that the record pass for a Mach 1 is 13.0x.. which is right on your heels.

You're right now everyone can drive to a cars best potential... that's why I try not to let 'so and so only ran xxxx' comparisons go to my head.
