Thanks for all the info guys, I hate cleaning the zl1 wheels with the matte finish and in my opinion GM did a horrrible job painting them. Mine literally have bare spots everywhere, like they sprayed them from the front and whatever overspray got to the dish and around back was good enough. The spokes being so close makes it hard to get them really clean inside the dish. I do like the look of the Z28 wheels but that front offset looks horrible. I do however want to make sure I use a forged wheel and thats the reason I don't wanna go for the aftermarket Z28 wheel. Probably end up with some nice forgeline wheels instead. Can I borrow some money? Ha ha. The gap doesn't bother me too bad as I'm already sitting an 1" lower with my Detroit speed springs. It did give it a bad ass stance but a small gap wouldn't bother me.
