The thing about the 2016 is that as a brand new model there will likely be significant mark up at the dealers for a while. Also many people feel it unwise to buy the first year of a new model of car ('14 Vettes had all kinds of issues and in '15 a lot of the kinks still haven't been worked out). Similar to new electronic devices like iphones and whatnot theres usually always issues with a new release.

Buying a '15 would be the way to go in my opinion. Dealers are giving great deals on them as the need to get rid of them increases. It would be a wonderful upgrade over your LS. I promise you'll never want to go back.
