The Manual LS3 has 26 more HP and 10 more torque than the L99 Auto. I love my L99 and a few bolt ons and a tune can help that out. I get plenty of get up and go for me in the L99 and with the Sport mode and paddle shifts gives you a little more control. The 1LE is a very nice performance package.

The L99 has AFM which will have the car switch to 4 cylinders to conserve fuel. You can tune that out if you want. I am looking to do that as I don't care for it kicking it at low speeds.

I would get what you want and feel comfortable with. Don't worry about anything else.
