You're contradicting yourself, do you research? or do you buy for looks? We know little about the performance so far, but it sounds like it's gonna be killer bang for the buck.
I've owned at least one of each generation, they don't make cars like they used to, and that's mostly a good thing. I'll buy one just because it has the Camaro badge, if it has performance/handling issues the aftermarket will be fixing it. I'll wait till 2020 if I have to, not because I'm a cheerleader, but because I'm patient, and I like Camaro's.
