I had NT01's on my Lotus Exige and loved them. Now the Z28 is a much heavier car, so I would not expect them to last as long, but I remember getting good milage out of them (even on the rear).
Also, I would not just assume because the Trofeo R's are treadwear 60 and the NT01's are 100 that the R's are going to outperform the 01's. Treadwear is assigned by the manufacturer and there is not a real standard, thus it really means nothing.
I remember my 01's being much stickier cold than the R's are. Without actual durometer readings at different heat cycle comparisons it really is tough to compare. The best way is to take both sets to a track (as sticker tires) and do alternate runs with them to really understand how they perform. If someone want to buy the tires I will volunteer to do the runs.
I like the R's, but will probably replace them with NT01's when the time arrives just to feel something a bit different and see what I think.
