Actually here is an article that bids farewell to the outgoing 5th Gen 1LE with a really nice review of the car. But more interestingly is that it also briefly discusses the optional performance exhaust (NPP option) as adding 6 HP to the currently rated 426 bringing it up to 432 HP. So any recovered HP from switching from a hydraulic to electric power steering pump would be a few above the 432 the article cites. So the LS3 in the 1LE produces enough to possibly give an extra 5 mph or more in a race.
