For those wondering about the actual cost of the HPDE insurance: I just purchased the HPDE insurance. I rated myself as Novice attending 4-7 events yearly. My KBB value unmodified was about $26,500. Modifications (see below) brought value up to $41,000. I opted for 10% deductible (about $22.00 extra) instead of 15%. Paying by E-Check avoids the $5.00 "convenience charge" for paying by credit card. I am only doing Thursday at NCM. The total premium was $301.
