Following that logic, this oil cooler core should short-circuit even if it was put vertical, Setrab's intended orientation, right?

I'll talk to Improved Racing and see if I can convert my system to that 48 row series 9 unit. I don't even want to touch anything but the unit, so I'll just extend the existing hoses with a lock fitting or AN, and install that new core. My main question at this point is the location. If I install in the current location, a part of the cooler core might be blocked. It would be best if I closely stack it in front of the A/C condenser, but I'm still not sure how.
