I know that this is the week link in the system. I posted a thread about my clutch pedal going away in the 1LE forum
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=384247 turned out to be quite extensive and very informative. Believe me i drove my 1LE on track as hard as she could be driven. I was there when the dealer pulled my tranny etc out, and to my surprise that bearing was in perfect shape, we were all shocked as this week link was known by us. I had Steve's bearing put on anyway, as well as his clutch (thanks again Steve)and all is perfect.
