I've researched some and read almost half and half as far as to replace them or not. I've also read that the 1LE differential has different bushings then the regular SS and do not necessarily needs to be replaced. Is this correct?

Pete's advice is spot on! I wouldn't suggest going to poly or delrin unless you're planning on making big power.

Installing the offset Delrin bushings from Hendricks Engineering will allow you to lower your Camaro up to TWO INCHES, that's right I said TWO INCHES & launch a STOCK SS Camaro with 430 hp. hard from stop lights with out breaking the drive axles! I installed them in my 2010 SS/RS when I recently installed a Ride Tech Level Two coil over suspension & it was the smartest money I have spent on the car thus far! As far as I am concerned, they are a NO- BRAINER!

As far as NVH & the dreaded gear whine that you here so much about when using Delrin bushings, the only time I am getting gear whine in the car is above 65mph! The faster you are above that the gear whine will change to a higher pitch. It really is no big deal. If you are worrying about some gear whine in the car, you probably bought the wrong car!

A little gear whine in the car is a small price to pay for the added benefits you will get not worrying about breaking axles! If you have ANY questions installing them, feel free to pm me any time.

Those are a great idea for geometry but delrin doesn't like heat... I probably wouldn't use those in a road race application and they will transmit a lot more noise. We've used a aluminum variation in some of the road race cars we've built and they do help when lowered for sure.
