If it's a brand new tire they have a coating on them that causes them to be slippery at first. The coating helps remove them from the mould. It's why when you get new motorcycle tires they tell you to take it easy for the first 50 miles or so. Could be that.

Or maybe they didn't relearn your tire sensors properly.
