I gathered from the above article that it will be a clean sheet design (this is coming from Scott Settlemire). This is a complete revamp of the Camaro. And, if you noticed, Scott Settlemire said not to limit engine ideas to what they already have...LS2/LS7/LS9, etc. There is a whole lotta time between now and the release date. I'd say they have a year 1/2 to decide on engine types. It could be just about anything. But...of course I'm just going off what the GM execs say. And at this time, anything could change.
