Just picked up a my first Camaro. Its a 95 with the 3.4 Auto and t tops.

Rolls in park when off but not running,
Reverse is park when going from park to reverse, reverse goes forward when coming from the neutral spot.
No neutral (goes forward).

The center console in currently removed and was found jam packed with cigg butts (Now cleaned up).

Any run into this? Ideas what it could be? I was leaning toward shifting linkage but park works when running.

I am Briggs and Stratton MST so I can turn a wrench but I am just stepping into cars.
