I wish my dad were still with us so he could drive the 1LE. I remember when I went to get one of our first hot rods ('70 Nova) out to drive it and I noticed it was missing one of the SS center caps on the SS wheels. I went back in the hose to ask what was up. My Dad was smirking and chuckling and my Mom seemed quite agitated. Come to find out, Dad had taken Mom for a very spirited drive, and thrown the center cap off the wheel. Mom was not so excited about the spirited drive! Great memories!
