I always noticed that when working properly the doors unlocked when put in park like they should. When it was acting up the doors always stayed locked when placing in park. The truck would roll if on a hill. I could crawl under it and manually move it just slightly to place in park. Please don't try while rolling. lol The switch can sometimes be adjusted or replaced obviously.
