Here in Michigan we store things for several months. This last year they got into our 66 Chevelle, 2003 pickup, and motorhome, we had the Camaro in Florida. We have used pepermint oil on cotton, dryer sheets, they used both to make nests with. Our neighbòr uses moth balls and they help some. The pickup and Chevelle they made nests in the duct work. A few years ago they chewed the tractor wiring and some wiring in the garage. In the summer I kill all that get into the garages. I even had some poison blocks out for them. Moth balls will be tried this year.
