Sylvester Stallone is many things and has many opinions, which he is welcome to. However some of his opinions on what you or I should be allowed to do or own makes him less than popular among a certain segment of the population of the United States. To that percentage of the population Mr. Stallone is an out of touch celebrity who feels his opinion is more important than yours, and those people feel that he uses his celebrity status to advance that opinion in a way a regular citizen cannot, thus giving his opinion a weight it should not enjoy, thereby making his views more acceptable simply because he is a celebrity. Some people would also argue that Mr. Stallone is in fact a notable hypocrite regrading some of his standpoints and opinions.
