The Victory Red has more of an orange tint/glow to it and the Red Hot is comparatively more of a deeper red. Not a big difference but it is noticeable to me. Actually, favor the older Victory Red color a little more than the new Red Hot flavor have now; I'm sure opinions will vary.
In photos <----<<< e.g. the one of my 2014 Red Hot to the left here, both versions sometimes appear red/orange when taken in sunlight. But in person the difference is easier to see that the new one is slightly more reddish. More of my car's photos appear in Post #88 of this thread.
When removed the back spoiler to clean under it, the Red Hot Camaro actually had a Chevy factory bar code sticker on it with the color name of:
"Pull Me Over Red" hidden on underside of spoiler. Someone at Chevy has a good sense of humor for the paint color name (but marketing didn't want to go with that name). Posted pic of the paint name label sticker in another thread concerning spoiler cleaning.
