Simple mods... Would suggest a ported throttle body, and Vitesse Throttle controller. Both will help with throttle response, and shouldn't put your warranty at risk.

Another option is an intake manifold isolator, since you have the LLT motor. That will help reduce air intake temperatures, which provides a little more low-end torque. Keeping with that train of thought, you can also remove the engine cover (free!) to help keep the IM a little cooler.
